Our Contribution to Net Zero
We’re planting trees and supporting the Stripe Climate program to offset CO₂ and contribute to a Net Zero future.

Stripe Climate Initiative
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we contribute 1% of our revenue to carbon removal technologies that help fight climate change and protect our planet for future generations.
By supporting cutting-edge carbon removal projects through Stripe Climate, we’re not only celebrating Moroccan culture in Australia — we’re also taking responsibility for our environmental impact. It’s a small step with a big vision: a cleaner, more sustainable future for all.
Our Forest: Environmental Responsibility
As of 21st June 2025, the Moroccan Association of Perth is proud to share that we have planted 400 trees in Madagascar and Tanzania through our ongoing partnership with Tree-Nation. This is more than just a number — it’s a symbol of our commitment to environmental sustainability and global solidarity.
For every donation and each new member, we plant a tree. It’s a simple yet powerful gesture that helps restore ecosystems, absorb carbon emissions, and build a legacy of care for our planet.
10.19 tonnes of CO₂ already offset
0.27 hectares of forest restored
Goal: 150 trees to be planted for 2025-2026
But we’re not stopping there. We’re now working to extend this initiative locally, aiming to plant trees right here in Western Australia in partnership with Tree-Nation. Because change begins both at home and abroad.
By supporting this project, you’re not just planting a tree — you’re planting hope, climate action, and a future for the next generations.
Join us in making a difference.
Be part of our forest🌳
Your support can take root. 🌱 With every donation, a tree is planted — helping to restore forests, fight climate change, and support local communities. It’s a small contribution with a global impact. Whether it’s $5 or $50, your generosity helps us grow our forest and our mission. Donate today and be part of something that lasts for generations. Together, we can build a greener, healthier planet — one tree at a time.
Cultural Initiatives
Promoting Moroccan culture and tourism in Western Australia through events.
Community Engagement
Our event calendar is rich with activities showcasing Moroccan music, dance, cuisine, and traditions, fostering appreciation and understanding among the wider Perth community. From traditional Gnawa and Andalusian music performances to vibrant dance shows and culinary experiences featuring authentic Moroccan dishes like couscous, tagine, and pastries, each event is thoughtfully curated to offer a true taste of Morocco.
Beyond entertainment, our events serve as windows into the soul of Moroccan life. We host storytelling nights that bring ancient legends and folktales to life, artisan craft displays that celebrate the intricate artistry of Moroccan design, and henna workshops where the beauty of tradition meets hands-on creativity. Our cultural exhibitions explore Morocco’s rich history, from its Berber roots to its Andalusian influences, offering insights into the diverse narratives that shape the Moroccan identity.
These gatherings are not only celebrations of culture but also opportunities for meaningful dialogue, shared experiences, and the building of lasting friendships across cultures. They encourage curiosity, foster understanding, and help break down cultural barriers in a space that is welcoming, inclusive, and alive with the energy of community.
Through these events, we create a vibrant cultural bridge between Morocco and Australia — one that invites everyone to connect, learn, and celebrate the spirit of Morocco together. Whether you are Moroccan, Australian, or from elsewhere in the world, we welcome you to join us in honoring the beauty of diversity and the joy of shared experiences.
Tourism Promotion
Highlighting Morocco's rich heritage to encourage tourism and cultural exchange is at the heart of our mission. Through vibrant events, educational workshops, and community gatherings, we showcase the country’s diverse traditions — from its colorful festivals and intricate crafts to its world-renowned cuisine, architecture, and music. Each initiative is designed to bring Morocco’s unique identity to life, offering immersive experiences that transport attendees across continents and into the heart of Moroccan culture.
By sharing the beauty and depth of Moroccan heritage with the Australian public, we aim to spark curiosity, foster mutual understanding, and inspire meaningful exploration. Whether it’s through cooking classes that teach the art of preparing a traditional tagine, language workshops introducing Darija or Amazigh expressions, or film screenings that reflect Moroccan stories and perspectives, every event becomes a powerful tool for cultural connection.
Our programs also serve as a platform to promote Morocco as a captivating and multifaceted travel destination. We highlight the country’s breathtaking landscapes — from the sweeping dunes of the Sahara to the vibrant souks of Marrakech and the blue streets of Chefchaouen — as well as its centuries-old history and spirit of hospitality that continues to enchant visitors from around the world.
At the same time, our efforts nurture a strong sense of identity and pride among Moroccan Australians, while inviting people from all backgrounds to join in the celebration. By bridging communities through shared experiences and values, we not only strengthen cultural ties but also build lasting connections that transcend borders. Ultimately, we believe that through greater cultural awareness and exchange, we pave the way for a more inclusive, connected, and compassionate society — one where every culture is recognized, respected, and celebrated.
Community Emporwerment
We offer open-door support to help individuals navigate life’s challenges in a new country, empowered by the strength of community.

We understand that the journey of settling into a new environment can be both exciting and overwhelming, and we are here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
Our dedicated team and volunteers offer guidance on matters such as housing, education, employment, healthcare, and legal support, connecting individuals with the right resources and helping them make informed decisions. By nurturing a sense of belonging and offering a safe, welcoming space for all, we strive to create a stronger, more united community. Here, everyone is encouraged to grow, thrive, and contribute, knowing they are not alone.
