Bridging Morocco and
Australia through Culture and Community.

The Moroccan Association of Perth acknowledges the Whadjuk Noongar people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.

Moroccan-Australian Friendship
It’s a living bridge between two distant yet kindred worlds. We blend the colours, sounds, and stories of Morocco with the spirit of Australia, creating a vibrant tapestry of shared experiences. From the aroma of tagine simmering at a local workshop to the rhythms of gnawa echoing through cultural festivals, we invite people not just to observe, but to connect. Every event we host is a handshake between nations, a celebration of heritage, and a step toward a deeper friendship between Morocco and Australia.

His Majesty King Mohamed VI of Morocco
His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the 23rd monarch of the Alaouite dynasty, ascended the Moroccan throne in 1999, succeeding his father, King Hassan II. Descended from the Prophet Muhammad through Moulay Idriss I, he symbolizes Morocco’s deep historical and spiritual roots. His reign has ushered in an era of modernization, development, and global diplomacy, while preserving the nation’s cultural and religious identity.
King Mohammed VI has led major advancements in infrastructure, education, renewable energy, and social reforms, with a strong focus on human rights, youth, and women’s empowerment. Internationally, he is respected for promoting peace and defending Morocco’s territorial integrity, especially regarding the Sahara. He remains a unifying and compassionate leader for Moroccans at home and abroad.
Long live His Majesty the King.
May God glorify him and grant him success.
